Description
This was an originally an Irish cultivar from some point in the 19th Century and is really a double form of the species Narcissus pumilus. It has tousled greenish yellow petals, almost reminiscent of a dandelion and always arouses comment. This small daffodil, height 8″, flowers Feb – Mar, and is a great subject for naturalising amongst other early bulbs.
Daffodils are despatched only in Autumn (September – October)
