All our dry bulbs are packed in paper bags. Bulbs that are freshly lifted are packed in compost to keep them moist and put in plastic bags. All plants despatched are container grown or open ground stock and are sent out bare rooted.

Please open the packets immediately. Plant as soon as possible on receipt. If you are unable to plant straight away then store bulbs in a cool, shaded place until planting and heel in plants in pots or open ground by covering the roots with compost or soil. Bulbs with an outer skin like daffodils, crocus and tulips have a good shelf life, but if storing bluebells, anemones or snowdrops, for example, for more than a week or 10 days they are better kept in sand or compost. Please remember that we aim to deliver plants in good condition. If not satisfied please let us know within 14 days of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for performance after safe delivery.
