In 1910 the Rev Engleheart gave this selection of his of the Poeticus daffodil a fittingly formal musical epithet. His “Sonata” has the poeticus scent emanating from the typical sulphur yellow “pheasants eye” corona, with its crimson rim and greenish heart. The petals appear more formally than the species, rounded, overlapping and compact. Late season flowering April/May.
Daffodils are despatched only in Autumn (September – October)
