Description
One of the best-known crosses between Galanthus nivalis and Galanthus plicatus, this fine plant is named after the 19th Century plantsman James Atkins. With handsome long pointed petals, it is earlier flowering and much taller than the common Snowdrop, and is a vigorous grower. AGM
Despatched freshly lifted Aug-Oct so that bulbs are not allowed to dry out. This gives as good, if not better, results as transplanting ‘in the green’ in spring.
