Aconitum lycoctonum subsp neapolitanum (spring)

This Monks Hood has pale yellow flowers and is visited by both bumble bees and butterflies in late summer.  Given the talismanic title of Wolf’s Bane by some it is found deep in the mountains of Europe from the Pyrenees to the Carpathians.
