Wild Strawberry – Fragaria vesca

This make an excellent ground cover plant with shiny leaves, and dainty white flowers, and produces delicious tiny fruit best eaten with lashings of cream, or set in delicately flavoured jelly. Ideal for the hedge bank, it grows and can spread in semi shade or full sun.
