Narcissus asturiensis

This little early flowering species, with golden petals and trumpet comes from the rocky but moist meadows of North West Spain including Asturias. It is even smaller that its cousin Narcissus minor and used to be referred to as Narcissus minimus.  It grows best in moist peaty soil.
